Bought a Range Rover from Simon and can’t fault him or the car! First class experience, easiest car purchase I’ve ever made and from calling one afternoon to test driving and picking up the next day it was as simple as that.He had it ready for me to Test Drive first thing. Would recommend, also a really nice guy!

Purchased the wifes car from beckside motors around 3 year’s ago after a few days of driving light come on so told her to just call down and see if the lads can help it was only light for screen wash to say it was low lol but Simon was happy to help and topped it up for her good set of lads that good and happy with them I just purchased a van a few months ago and must say I was very pleased with how they helped, very genuine owners and would definitely recommend 5*****

To be fair, I have to say James and Simon were both very helpful and friendly. There are however issues I feel should be addressed.On the 25th March I spotted a car advertised by Beckside Motors. It was a 2017 year Captur described as having "Excellent bodywork and interior with tyres in average condition"As we live approx 100 miles away I phoned and asked if they would keep it until the next morning for me. They agreed to do so which was very nice.Managed to get there for about 11.00am to view the car. We were allowed plenty of time to check the car and take it for a test drive. Again, they could not have been more helpful.The bodywork had some minor scratches and dints (not excellent condition but liveable). Interior had the boot load space floor and parcel shelf missing (again not excellent). However £90 was taken off the price to go towards a used replacement. The tyres were coated in tyre paint makeing checking difficult but it was obvious the front tyres were low on tread (not average condition). We did however purchase the car as I was prepared to remedy this.This is what we found when we checked it the next day.The rear near side door had previous accident damaged which was hidden behind a badly fitted lower door trim.All four tyres needed replacing, the fronts were at the ware marker and the side walls were very cracked (visible once the tyre paint removed) the rear tyres also had cracked side walls.The front brake disks were in poor condition and the thickness was below the manufacturers minimum. The brake pads only had 2mm of ware left on them (dangerous and MOT failure).Also found two of the glow plugs faulty.Not in excellent condition but unroadworthy.I have since rectified these faults apart from the door damage as waiting for the local body shop.Before writing this review I did contact Simon and James via their email, that was ten day's ago and no reply.Whoever reads this can make their own judgement regarding these issuse.

I was nervous about buying a new car however Ben & James were great in guiding me through the process. They were helpful and friendly. No issue was too small or too big.I have been driving my new car for 2/3 weeks now. It’s great, drives smoothly. I’m a very happy customer. I am grateful to Beckside Motors for their amazing service and I definitely recommend them!

My old Mazda failed its MOT terminally and Beckside Motors had just the car I needed. Despite the distance the new Kia was delivered without any trouble, earlier than I could have hoped. Terrific service and a very fair price. Full marks!
